Scribbles started business on the 25th Feb 2006 in Fulbourn, Cambridge. We found that due to the popularity of pottery painting, we relocated into larger premises in Newmarket.

We closed our Fulbourn studio on the 23rd of Dec and re-opened in Newmarket on the 6th January 2007, we have had many visits from our wonderful existing customers, as well as new customers from Newmarket and the surrounding area.

We have a dedicated room downstairs for parties, and for painters who wish to have their own space to paint, plus a large walk in studio on the ground floor for "walk-in" painters, so that everyone can enjoy the fun in their own way.

We are able to seat with comfort, over 40 painters, and can cater for up to 18  painters in our party room downstairs, our studio is bright & has a cheery atmosphere, we offer you a relaxing and fun time.

We cater for all types of parties as well as walk in painters, for adults and children, as well as groups, like the Brownies, Cubs, Scouts & Guides, even nurseries, so everyone has a chance to be creative.
Whatever limited painting skill, we can ensure that you create a thing of beauty.

We make it our aim to help everyone achieve amazing results even though you may think you cannot draw a straight line, we have an array of ideas and techniques to make sure that everyone can produce amazing pottery, everytime. We do not leave you looking a blank white piece of pottery, we help you all the way through the enjoyable process.

We pride ourselves on providing a high level of customer service, our prority is to ensure that your experience with Scribbles is the best and most fun, we make sure that you achieve results better than you had hoped, we make sure that you are never stuck, we help and assist you as much or as little as you require, these are not empty words, this is what we really do.

We also offer gifts for christmas, birthdays, weddings, leaving events, and other special events, plus personalised painted plates, if you want us to paint the plates for you.

These presents make ideal anniversary gifts, or for special occasions, like leaving signing plates or wedding guest signing plates.

We also do imprints in clay, impressions of hands or feet, both adults and children, that are fired to preserve their mark forever.

Now we produce silver jewellery with images of hands and feet and faces in 3D relief, these are unique and personalised silver pendants and cufflinks made only for you.

We also stock a huge range of helium filled balloon decorations for you to decorate your party, come a take a look at our huge range today.

We also sell fresh coffee, Cappuccinos, Lattes, teas, and hot chocolate with cream, yummmm, etc... to keep you going.

We are not a franchise, Josie and I aim to offer a friendly, personalised service at a very  affordable price.

Scribbles Balloons: The event was a huge success and many people commented on the beautiful balloon arrangements. The choice of colours and quality of the balloons was particularly impressive and they certainly enhanced the evening.

 I just wanted to let you know that the plate arrived safe and sound and in time on Friday last week (the packaging even survived the dog who made the delivery man drop it and run down the garden path!)

 Mobile events / Take home party
You can now take home the pottery and the paints to have the party at home or your chosen venue, in your own time.

We only charge for the pottery painted, and allow you to take extra pottery home, in case you wish to paint more, any unpainted items restocked at no cost.

You only pay shop prices, no extra charges are made, and no limit on the number of items you can choose. We only ask you to pay for the pottery taken when you collect the pottery and equipment.

Our simple pricing structure makes it easy for you to know exactly what you will pay for our service.

Studio
For our Studio visitors, our bisque wares (unpainted pottery) start from £10.00 and we have NO Studio Fees
The price of the pottery is all you pay, no hidden extra costs.
We provide:
Unlimited use of a variety of paints
The use of the brushes, stamps, sponges and writers etc...
The glazing of the bisque
The firing of your painted items in our kiln
Plus all the help & assistance you could ever need, we are very friendly and helpful especially to beginners who need the most advice.

The Commentrative plate donated by Scribbles and signed by Roger Daltrey, Bill Wyman, Harry Judd, Mark Foster and other celebs, raised £130 towards the Teenage Cancer Trust Addenbrooke's Unit Appeal.

Roger and Bill also signed another plate to be auctioned at a later date for the charity COPARS which is the Childhood Cancer Organistion for Children & parents support at Addenbrookes C2 ward, this has been donated to the charity to be auctioned for funds.
